  • Economist with seven years of full-time working experience within the banking and economic Consultancy sectors (2010-2016, 2018)

  • Ph.D. Research Fellow (2015-2021) and an Assistant professor of Economics at the School of Advanced Studies (SAS) at Tyumen State University in Russia (2021/12-2022/06).

  • Assistant Professor in Economics (Lecturer) at the Faculty of Business and Law at the British University “De Montfort University”

  • As an operations consultant (working at FAO), I was responsible for a portfolio of three countries namely Syria, Iraq, and Yemen, and have managed tens of projects. I obtained my B.Sc. in Economics from Damascus University in Syria (2008), and M.Sc. in Finance from Lund University in Sweden (2010). In 2016, I was awarded the Ph.D. Fellowship of Excellence for Foreign Nationals Educated Abroad at Sapienza University of Rome and obtained my Ph.D. in Models for Economics and Finance in July 2021
