Macroeconomics, Institutional Economics, and Financial Economics


  • Ph.D. in Economics (Institutional Economics) from Philipps University of Marburg, Germany (2013), MA in Professional Development (2004) and BA in Economics (2000) both from the American University in Cairo (AUC).
  • Currently a Lecturer at Bremen University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Bremen) and Fresenius University of Applied (Hochschule Fresenius), and previous Lecturer at the German University in Cairo (Berlin Campus).
  • Postdoctoral Researcher at Bremen City University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Bremen) (2016-2018)
  • Published several monograph books in English and Arabic
  • Published several academic papers in peer-reviewed academic journals
  • Worked in a project of the United Nations Development Program in Egypt (2002-2003)
  • Worked on a project for intercultural exchange between Germany and Egypt sponsored by the German Foreign Ministry (2016).
